The transcript summarizes a short audio message explaining why some Christians wrongly believe God blesses those who support the modern state of Israel, when Scripture is clearly only referring to blessing Abraham himself. It analyzes the actual biblical verses in Genesis and Romans stating God’s promises were conditional and limited to Abraham’s lineage, not present day Jews or Israel. The key action item is to recognize all believers in Christ are equally Abraham’s seed and heirs with no second-class citizens.

Introducing the False Teaching about Blessing Israel
The speaker introduces himself, explaining his goal is to correct the false teaching embraced by some Christians that God blesses those who support the modern state of Israel.
Examining the Proof Text on Blessing Abraham
The key proof text from Genesis about blessing Abraham and cursing his cursers is analyzed in context, showing the specific promises referred only to Abraham as an individual using ‘thee/thou’ pronouns.
Clarifying the Conditional Land Promise
Additional verses clarify God’s promises to give Israel land were conditional on their obedience, and Scripture records the promises were already fulfilled under Joshua while later loss of land showed their disobedience.
Defining Children of God’s Promise
Paul’s writings explain being a child of promise versus just physical descent matters, with all in Christ now counted as equal heirs and Abraham’s seed without divisions between Jew or Gentile.

I will bless them that bless thee and curse him that cursed the is that talking about the current state of Israel Hi there friend. This is Lee Posky This is just a quick primer to help anyone who’s been hoodwinked by the false teaching known as dispensationalism Which I found to be rife in many Baptist and Pentecostal type assemblies Have you ever heard that?
We’d better support Israel over there because God says that I will bless them that bless thee and curse him that cursed thee So is that talking about the current nation state? Well, let’s look at that verse in Scripture with some context It comes from Genesis 12. It says this: Now the Lord had said unto Abram get thee out of thy country and from thy kindred and from thy father’s house unto a land that I will show thee and I will make of thee a great nation and I will bless thee and Make thy name great and thou shalt be a blessing and I will bless them that bless thee and Curse him that cursed thee and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.
Well, you can see clearly that that verse is speaking only about Abram Not a Christ rejecting religion and Christ rejecting government. Aside from the plain language of Scripture we know that the authorized version of the Bible uses personal pronouns that start with a T to identify a singular subject of a sentence. Them that blessed thee and curse him that cursed thee. If a plurality of people were being spoken to in that verse the personal pronoun would have started with a WHY. If it meant a state of people it would have read something like this. Them that bless you and curse him that cursed you. So you see those “these” and “thou” serve a vital purpose in understanding Scripture.
We know for a fact that that verse is speaking only about Abram. But wait, isn’t that land over there what’s due to them? Friend, do you really think God is going to be supporting people who require someone to reject Christianity and thus reject Christ and convert to the anti-Christ religion of rabbinic Judaism?
If they want to become a citizen there, not a chance. God delivered what He promised. Joshua 21:43 tells us this. And the Lord gave unto Israel all the land which he swear to give unto their fathers, and they possessed it and dwelt therein.
And the Lord gave them rest round about, according to all that he swear unto their fathers. And there stood not a man of all their enemies before them. The Lord delivered all their enemies into their hand.
There, failed not all of any good thing which the Lord had spoken unto the house of Israel. All came to pass. Subsequent land was conditional on Israel’s obedience to God, which they didn’t comply with. And what does Scripture say about this matter?
Well, in Paul’s day in the first century he said this about what remained at that time of the remnant of Israel in Romans 11:5 – It says this, Even so then at this present time. Also, there is a remnant according to the election of grace In verse 5.
He says if by any means I may provoke to emulation them which are of are my flesh and might save some of them. In Romans 11:23 it says this; And they also if they abide not still in unbelief shall be graffed in, for God is able to graff them in again. So you couple that with the fact that no one today has unbroken genealogical records back to Jacob. What matters is that someone be in Christ?
That’s the Israel of God regardless of what someone claims is their earthly identity. Now listen to what God says in Scripture about this matter, please. Romans 9:8 That is, They which are the children of the flesh, these are not the children of God, but the children of the promise are counted for the seed – Galatians 3:29. And if you be Christ then are you Abraham’s seed and heirs according to the promise.
Ephesians 2:11-15. Wherefore remember that ye being in time past Gentiles in the flesh who are called uncircumcision by that which is called the circumcision in the flesh made by hands that at that time ye were without Christ being aliens from the Commonwealth of Israel and strangers from the covenants of promise having no hope and without God in the world. But now in Christ Jesus Ye who who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ. For he is our peace who hath made both one and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us. Having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances, for to make in himself of twain one new man, so making peace.”
And finally, Galatians 6:15-16 tells us this. For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision availeth anything nor uncircumcision, but a new creature. And as many as walk according to this rule, peace be on them and mercy and upon the Israel of God.
But I’m going to go ahead and end this message here. There aren’t any second-class citizens in the kingdom of God, my friend. God’s free grace is beautiful, it’s unifying, and it’s wide open for anyone and everyone who wants it. Everyone in Christ is of Abraham’s seed, the Israel of God.
All right. Well, I thank you for listening to me in all glory to the risen Lord Jesus Christ and no glory to us whatsoever.
