ARTICLE STATUS DISCLOSURE

A Note on the Status of Our Articles

A statement concerning article review, research methodology, and the use of artificial intelligence.

The published material on this website is currently undergoing a systematic review, with careful attention being given to historical, linguistic, biblical, and theological accuracy. Because this examination is being conducted thoroughly and progressively, some articles have not yet received a complete reassessment. Previously published material should therefore not necessarily be understood as reflecting conclusions reached through our current research and examination. Where further investigation warrants clarification, correction, or revision, the material will be updated accordingly.

Use of Artificial Intelligence

Readers should note that content concerning religious, theological, and doctrinal subjects is developed with the assistance of artificial intelligence (AI), including Large Language Models (LLMs), as tools for research, organization, comparison, and synthesis. Dare-To-Think maintains a commitment to the Berean standard—testing every assertion against Scripture. Because AI-generated output can contain errors, and because human oversight also remains fallible, readers are encouraged to independently examine and verify the evidence presented.

AI is used to assist in correlating biblical passages, historical data, linguistic evidence, and doctrinal records, as well as in organizing, formatting, and expressing the material in clear, grammatically sound, and accessible language. This assistance is intended to make complex subjects understandable to readers from a wide range of educational backgrounds without unnecessarily technical or academic wording. These tools also assist in locating, comparing, and presenting source material for examination. The theological conclusions presented must ultimately stand or fall according to the evidence of Holy Scripture, not according to conclusions produced by an AI system.

The Standard of Examination Scripture remains the final standard by which theological and doctrinal conclusions presented on this website are to be examined.

An Invitation to Examine the Evidence

Some conclusions presented on this website may differ from interpretations that readers have encountered or held for many years. Such differences are not presented merely for the sake of challenging established beliefs, nor is the reader asked to accept a conclusion simply because it appears here. Rather, readers are encouraged to examine the evidence itself—including the biblical context, the underlying Hebrew or Greek where relevant, the meaning and usage of words in their historical setting, and the manner in which those words have been represented in English translation.

Long familiarity with a particular interpretation can naturally influence how a passage is understood, especially when that interpretation has been encountered repeatedly through teaching, preaching, theological systems, or traditional terminology. Readers are therefore encouraged, as far as possible, to distinguish between what the biblical text actually says and what they may have previously understood it to mean.

Where linguistic, historical, and contextual evidence supports a particular understanding, that evidence deserves careful consideration whether it confirms or challenges a familiar interpretation. The same standard should be applied to conclusions presented on this website. The purpose is not to replace one set of assumptions with another, but to encourage careful examination of the evidence and to allow the biblical text, considered within its proper context, to bear the weight of the conclusion.

Continuing Review

As this review progresses, individual articles may be clarified, corrected, expanded, or revised where the evidence warrants. Readers are encouraged to examine the material in light of Holy Scripture and to independently consider the historical, linguistic, and documentary evidence presented. Concerns regarding the theological, historical, or factual accuracy of any material are welcomed and may be submitted for further investigation. This continuing assessment is part of Dare-To-Think’s commitment to careful inquiry, truth-seeking, and doctrinal fidelity.
