The Divine Exposure of State Deception
The Scriptures provide numerous examples of the powerful using deception, false witness, and state-sanctioned narratives to bury the truth and protect their interests. This behavior is fundamentally a rejection of God’s sovereignty in favor of man’s own corrupt authority.
Consider these passages:
- Psalm 64:2–6: "Hide me from the secret counsel of the wicked; from the insurrection of the workers of iniquity: Who whet their tongue like a sword, and bend their bows to shoot their arrows, even bitter words: That they may shoot in secret at the perfect: suddenly do they shoot at him, and fear not. They encourage themselves in an evil matter: they commune of laying snares privily; they say, Who shall see them? They search out iniquities; they accomplish a diligent search: both the inward thought of every one of them, and the heart, is deep."
- Isaiah 29:15: "Woe unto them that seek deep to hide their counsel from the Lord, and their works are in the dark, and they say, Who seeth us? and who knoweth us?"
- Proverbs 28:13: "He that covereth his sins shall not prosper: but whoso confesseth and forsaketh them shall have mercy." (While this applies to individuals, the principle extends to nations and institutions: a state that builds its stability upon a foundation of lies and blood-guilt forfeits the blessing of God.)
- Matthew 10:26: "Fear them not therefore: for there is nothing covered, that shall not be revealed; and hid, that shall not be known."
These verses describe the typical path of those in power: they believe their schemes are hidden from view, they operate in the dark, and they rely on "secret counsel" to manufacture a reality that shields them from accountability. However, the consistent witness of Scripture is that such efforts are futile. God is the ultimate judge, and He is in the business of exposing the works of darkness, whether the cover-up involves the history of a state, the subversion of a nation, or the silencing of the truth regarding the USS Liberty.
Those who seek to subvert the truth through institutional power ultimately find that they cannot hide their deeds from the Lord, whose light eventually brings every secret thing to account.
USS Liberty Cover Up -- Why No One is Talking About It
The true story of the USS. Liberty is more shocking than any spy novel written by Tom Clancy. The most top-secret spy ship in the world. Its client was the NSA. The ship and its 294 U.S. Navy sailors were rushed to the Mediterranean Sea. Only the White House and Pentagon knew that Israel was ready to attack Arab nations. The USS. Liberty was deliberately sent into a kill zone. The casualties were staggering: 34 killed and 174 wounded. The coverup began immediately and has continued since 1967. Until now! The aging survivors have finally told their true story. Sacrificing Liberty sets the record straight in this 4 Part Video Docuseries.
